Welcome to our 16th challenge!

To celebrate our 16th challenge, we are changing it up! We will still keep the foundation of the previous 15 challenges but will be doing this as a TEAM APPROACH. Research shows that friends who lose weight together find it easier to stick with their plans. We are social animals and we do best when we do it with others. 

There is too much information and knowledge but we are deficient in executing this knowledge. We have so much knowledge but physical and mental health is declining. It isnt surprising that we are all confused with all this information.

We will make it simple and take the confusion out.

There is no one approach that works for everyone. 

After reading books by Dr Chatterjee (one of the most influential medical doctors in the UK) and Dr Eric Topol (longtime cardiologist and researcher), I have decided to add their principles to SLOW the Aging Process and live a happier life. Yes, that’s right, by living a happier life we can slow the aging process. Simple prevention strategies rather than cure.

I have done years of study as a Health Coach and the difference with our 16th Challenge is that we are going to make life long changes. We are worth investing in ourselves and to age well.

But best of all, we will be ACCOUNTABLE TO EACH OTHER! Sharing tips, recipes, workouts and checking in not just with your health coach but with your BUDDY/TEAM. We will work as a TEAMS.

Challenge Details

  • For the CHBC, we are excited to add new classes to the challenge from last year. Even more to choose from. Subject to availability, book as many fitness classes as you wish. You need to do a minimum of 2 classes per week.

  • Our comprehensive approach, which combines the latest research by Harvard University, Dr. Mike Moreno, Sarah Wilson, Dr. Michael Mosley and additional knowledge from Dr RanganmChatterjee and Dr Eric Topol with expert guidance from our Health Coach, provides you with a booklet to help you establish dietary guidelines, a daily food diary, fortnightly measurements, and tips to help maintain progress.

  • Our recipe book has evolved from previous challenges to offer various delectable options. Our book now includes exciting new additions from low-calorie Mediterranean diet meals to reduced fructose recipes. These recipes are designed to help you consume foods that reduce inflammation and support a healthy lifestyle!

  • We welcome Trudy Cadoo who will talk to our challengers about women’s health. She will answer your questions and leave you feeling great about the next stage of our health journey.

  • Join the CHBC Facebook page, where challengers share their stories and get motivating feedback from all our challengers and trainers. Member only access to the Cooley Healthy Body Challenge Private web page.

  • Without a doubt, one of our best CHBC events. We cook together in the studio a whole menu and get to eat what we cook. Of course, foods all fit into the challenge recipes. This event is so much fun, meet other challengers, eat and have to be motivated together for success. description

  • Before we start on 29 September you will be invited to participate in a ONE-HOUR complimentary group Health & Nutrition Coaching Session to kick start your program. Priceless. You also get to meet others taking the journey with you. We will also include the following:

    information about Gut Health, Intermittent Fasting and the principles for tackling your sugar addiction and learn about inflammatory foods.

    Learn how certain foods affect weight loss, bloating, energy levels, insulin levels, pain and mood.

    Body Measurements and weight.

    Body Scans.

    Before and after photos.

  • Fantastic meal plans based on the Mediterranean Diet to help take the guess work out. Lots of variety and mix-and-match ideas to satisfy everyone. Don't like Mediterranean Diet food? No problem, there are non-Mediterranean sample meal plans and recipes too!

  • Every fortnight after a class you attend, you can be weighed and measured. It will only take a few minutes. These check-ins are vital to keep you on track and really make the challenge a success. Put these important appointments in your calendar and never miss one.

  • Who doesn't like a little 'friendly' competition? Last year's challengers LOVED it. Let’s see if we can walk 100km.

  • Our Group Coaching Sessions have proved to be an absolute game-changer to our success! Surrounding yourself with like-minded people with similar challenges, gaining motivation, creating accountability, celebrating successes and gaining perspective of others are just a few benefits from our Group Coaching Workshops. Regular Group Coaching Workshops will be available to attend.

  • 2 x Bio Impedence Analysis scans included where we will measure % of bone, fat, water & muscle.

Program Cost

Option 1: Already a Cooley Health Group Fitness client? As you have already paid for either an Annual, monthly, weekly or Term membership, here are the additional costs for the 8 weeks for the program including Bio Impedance Analysis scans:

  • $259 OR $32 per week payment plan.

Option 2:  New to Cooley Health classes? The full 8 week program:

  • $499 (unlimited classes, challenge for 8 weeks + Bio Impedence Analysis scan (%of bone, fat, water & muscle). Choose our 8-week payment plan and pay under $62 per week!

Option 3: Nutritional Component Only (full program, Bio Impedance Analysis scan without classes).

  • $279 Choose our 8 week payment plan and pay $34.80 per week.
